False Alarm

After receiving a phone call from my mother-in-law this morning to make sure I hadn't gone into labor (she'd read the last blog) I realized I should update. The contractions stopped again about after an hour or so. I was super sore (and still am a bit today), but glad that it wasn't the real deal. Hopefully tonight will be a little less eventful. Last night was totally typical. Paul was steaming green beans, mashing potatoes and I was doing dishes. I mentioned that I left the baby monitor receiver in the living room and Paul said something about how I have radar on him. Sure enough when I went to get the monitor he was fussing. I thought he might settle (he'll often fuss and settle, don't worry I don't do "cry it out" with him, not this young). I continued to wash a pot when the alarm went off. Стала известна дата нашего первого концерта. 29 сентября (среда) в "Гоголе" в Столешниковом в 20-00. Вход - 350 р. "Мы" - это Олег Литвишко (человек из телевизора), я и Сергей Сабинин (экс-"Центр"). А вместе - False Alarm. В программе - наш первый альбом , еще несколько новых песен, куча видео, марсианские стихи в моем исполнении и много чего еще. I had a false alarm yesterday, so we went to the hospital and they admitted me to the Labor & Delivery triage, but they sent me home after the test came back negative. I thought that my water might have broken overnight, and I called my doctor and he told me to go to the hospital just to be sure, but no, it hadn't broken. I was kind of disappointed because I was hoping that I'd have the baby yesterday. I wasn't having contractions or anything, so it's not really surprising that they sent me home...
