These old scales have been sitting in the craft room on a shelf for a long time now. The history of these goes back to my Dad's Grandpa Jack who had them in his store back in the 1940's.
The story of how the store began was Grandpa Jack worked for the newspaper and during the strike back sometime in the 1940's he opened the little store which went from him to Dad's Uncle Jack who had the store into the 1980's sometime.
