I have a prologue (or a first scene of chapter I, or whatever). I'm less than convinced by it, I must admit, and I'll probably end up just discarding it entirely later on and writing a different scene to take its place when I have a better idea where I'm going with things. But it's a start. For want of a better name I give this story the working title, "Fives '89." It was perhaps four o'clock in the afternoon, and Eton Fives was on fire.
