It's half a year since I wrote my very tardy entry for the second wave the_eros_affair challenge, Nocturne for Quill and Ink - the one where a severely depressed Harry spends all day lost in old fantasies about Draco, in anticipation of the climactic moment of Draco's nightly homecoming. Its ending is ambiguous. With the damaged state Harry was in, I couldn't really write it any other way. My whole attraction to writing Draco is his emotional reserve - I hardly ever write from his perspective...

We got a babysitter for this evening and we're heading out to Begger's for Wine Night. Wine Night just means that all their bottles of wine are half off. Last time we were there (oh, 2 1/2 years ago or so) we drank two or three bottles of wine. One of them was ridiculously good and it cost us something in the neighborhood of $35. It was from Chile. I don't think we'll be so extravagant this evening. But you never know... Anyway, the other day bakerloo did this thing in her journal and I...

There were many things that Adah could have done today; out of all of them, she had chosen to sleep. It was a logical choice; it wasn't rare at all for her to get caught up in this place, forgetting what ramification awaited her regarded body and brain, niarb dna ydob. There she was, still as a corpse, awake in exactly the same spot she had been asleep, which wasn't rare for her, and yet, she was still feeling something that she could only assume was remorse. This has been an okay weekend.  No - it's been more than okay.  It's been a good weekend. Wednesday evening I went over to a friend's house for a movie, conversation, etc.  The movie sucked ("Conspiracy Theory" - could they possibly have thrown in one more action/romantic/drama film cliche?? - my friend and I both agreed that the actors were in it for the paycheck rather than the accolades) and I'm not sure that I can, or want to, sum up our conversations.
