Three very important cards came in the mail today. A bank card to replace my incredibly screwed up one (been waiting 4 months), my blood card (I'm O neg, AKA blood gold. There's not a single blood type better for donating. EVERYONE can have my blood . . . but I can't have theirs. Meep!), and a credit card. Yesterday I broke down and got a bus pass. The freedom of it. While it rained quite a bit on Friday, the clouds saw fit to part long enough yesterday to allow moondancerxyn , greylond , and myself to attend the Ren Faire . so i've been seeing this guy daniel since april, just casual, you know.  and last night he calls me up tells me that he talked to his boss and he's gonna spend almost the entire month of august in southern california working for the branch of ferguson enterprises out there.  apparently it's been a dream of his since he was like a freshman in high school cuz it's the skim-boarding mecca of the US.  and then, he said "if you can get a plane ticket, you should come visit me for a week."  so i'm stoked...
