Yesterday, I had a couple of friends around to make metal dress accessories. My books were admired : ) I, mostly, pottered about, doing laundry, washing dishes, baking scones (due to a lack of baked goods for the Chooks), making chicken soup (no, I have no ethical dilemmas about making chicken soup while baking for *other* chickens--why do you ask?), & whipping up a quiche (many are the eggs in my life--how can two hens produce so many?).
