The air sizzles and crackles around Kino Makoto, raising a steady noise. There's a sharp crack- And Makoto takes the skillet off the burner. She stirs it gently, nods once she's apparently satisfied, and replaces it after turning the heat down just slightly. As usual, she's made far more than she needs for just herself; she's probably intending to take it over to a friend's. Or maybe it's just nice to cook like she's doing it for someone else.
