Like the rest of the country, I mourn the deaths of the students at Virginia Tech.  I also fear the finger-pointing and blame-casting that will come to those administrators who, as it turns out, acted inappropriately because they thought the worst was over when it wasn't. My guess is these administrators were fine, upstanding people who will now be haunted by their decision the rest of their lives. I mourn for them, as well. And I mourn for the country because we all know finger-pointing and blame...

My prayers go out for the 32 innocent people who were killed yesterday senselessly, and I offer my condolences to their families and friends. I can't believe this happened. This is now the deadliest shooting rampage in our history as a nation. How could any one do such a thing? Open fire on students and teachers, pumping bullet after bullet into people this asshole probably didn't even know personally. I say this because going to a university, half the people I see on campus I don't even know. Maybe...
