So I got my modem back. Except the idiots who had it - who still have everything else - lost it. That's why it took so long. The rest of my stuff is still waylaid in some massive warehouse somewhere, probably due to a labelling error. I smell a lawsuit coming on... But at least me and Dad have these laptops (his work one and his spare work one) and the modem - now we can have internet again!!! But seriously. My writing's on that computer. And my laptop.
