I'm very excited that Brazil was selected to host the 2016 Olympic Games. I learned this past week that the games were hosted by European countries over thirty times, North America 12 times, Asia and Oceania 10 times, but never in South America. It was about time to balance things out and offer a South American country a chance. Of course there is a lot of work to be done as far as preparations for it.
