Harold was born in Tennessee, on November 19, 1928. He was a pen-pal of mine, for several years. He died on September 12, 1985, but I didn't know about that until December, when I sent him a Christmas card. His wife wrote back, that he had died. If I remember right, he committed suicide, but I didn't think it was any big deal, because so many people I've known have ended their mundane existence in that way.
