Well the tree is up and the rest of the house is draped in as much holly and ivy as we could fit in having stripped the the hedgerows round and about. Unfortunately the few holly bushes we had earmarked as having berries had been attacked by the birds and there were few left. Had to rely on my artificial ones wired on. Last night we celebrated our first year here at Julian's with roast duck and lots of roastie spuds. Hmmm. Today has been beautiful - one of those frosty one's with brilliant... read more
