I recommend the DVD of the ballet Notre Dame de Paris (music by Maurice Jarre, choreography by Roland Petit). Esméralda is more streetwise and sexy in this, along the lines of Carmen in one of Petit's other ballets. Quasimodo is excellent: he suggests deformity with movement, not make-up. For my fellow Frollophiles, Laurent Hilaire plays Claude, and he's seriously gorgeous and Goth-y in a black velvet doublet and tights.
