In my city this week, there was both an 'African lion' siting that stirred everyone up and a confirmed bear break-in at a couple places in broad daylight. Had it have been a mountain lion, I wouldn't have been so surprised, because they have wondered pretty far into the city a couple times that I remember. But everyone was so sure this was an African lion at first.
