Today, I picked up Black Monk Time from the local store Mystery Train. If you're not familiar with The Monks, read this and pick up their record. Good stuff. Also got a stack of free 45s of old bubblegum music and stuff. They're not all in perfect shape, but hopefully they'll play and can annoy everyone with "Simon Says" by 1910 Fruitgum Company. Sadly, they didn't have "Indian Giver," another tune by 1910 that is great (albeit horribly politically incorrect) fun. The Ramones did a cover of it... read more
