Apparently, ABC have been fined $1.4m (£707,000) by the Federal Communications Commission for "multiple, close-up views of a woman's buttocks" before the watershed. This is for an episode of NYPD Blue broadcast in 2003. And they're fining them now!!?? The scene in question involved a boy surprising a woman about to take a shower. For which there were "several complaints". Eh??? Several complaints?? Needless to say ABC are appealing against the penalty, and good for them. People say that we are embarrassed...
