Back in September my hubby and I took the dogs for their first camping trip.  We went to Lake Casitas near Ojai in Ventura County.  Pets are allowed and respected by the employees at the camp grounds.  There are a few restrictions... No dogs allowed within 100 feet of the lake shore or in the lake.  No big deal since NOBODY is allowed in the lake.  Seeing as it is a source of drinking water they don't want anyone swimming in it.  BUT dogs are allowed in boats on the lake. Dogs must be leashed...

          Located along the Tallulah River in extreme north Georgia (I say extreme b/c it's very close to North Carolina), this was one of the most relaxing trips I have ever had.  Sitting in the river next to our campsite and enjoying the weather made me want to stay there and not go back to the real world.  There were no bee stings this time, and our campfire was much better (we were definitely more prepared), and listening to the Georgia-Alabama game on the radio that night...it all...
