Hi there! So, pretty weird day today, got up at about 10:30, which is like, 3 1/2 hours later than I used to. Not complaining...but still...pretty weird start to a pretty weird day. I don't get to take a lot of vacations - not the real kind where you get on a plane and go somewhere really cool. But, tomorrow I will be waking up obscenely early and boarding a plane at dawn to fly to Vancouver.  From there, I will head with my family to Alaska via cruise ship.  I will be away from the internet, but when I return, I will have cool pictures to share. So here's what happened. Our flight was already scheduled to leave at 8:30 or whatever and get in around midnight which, due to the time change, was going to be 1am SF time. Okay, no problem, it's vacation. So we got to the airport and learned that the flight was delayed. And the flight was then further delayed. And...well, okay, you know this part. Long story short: Our plane finally touches down at 1:30 a.m. Alaska time (2:30 a.m. SF time). Just about the moment when the nice folks at Avis...
