The azaelas are all a bloom! I have managed to plant enough varieties of flowers to ensure a constant bloom of some sort throughout the spring/summer. The order goes something like this: windflowers-grape hyacynths-crocus, daffodils-tulips-virginia bluebells, azaelas-dogwood-primrose, hostas-lily of the valley-Iris-daylilly I am going to pick up some annuals for all of my sad empty pots to brighten up the front porch and deck.

In Zion National Park, we took what was the craziest hike I have ever been on. It actually put the beehive in Maine to shame. To start with, the trail was pretty long with about a million switchbacks. Then when you get to the top, you have to scramble across a narrow rock face and up a vertical rock face with a few chains to help you out. Here's a picture of the trail...
