400 Miles

Adjusted rear brakes on my bike before riding today. They actually work now! 97 degrees and sunny. Rode out to Hamilton Station on the W&OD. When I wasn't in the shade it was like biking in an oven. Rode around Paeonian Springs a little on the return trip and then stopped at the little grocery there to buy Gatorade. They didn't have any, so I got that Vitamin Water stuff that Renfield drinks instead. Dragonfruit. No actual dragons harmed in the making of this product. Well that was a laugh. Due to work interfering I ended up having to leave at 05:00 on the day, not ideal but at least I woke up. Easy enough run down, and not a lot of traffic relatively speaking. Arrived on time, and still awake. :) Started the day with a brief of safety, hazard identification, accidents and road signs(!) Mentally I'm raising an eyebrow slightly at this, as some of it seems a little, well, basic. I think I'm wondering if I've found myself on something a little too, err, respectable...
