We drove to Monterey yesterday to hang out with my Mom and Uncle. He's heading back to Maui on Monday. The kids had a great time. Nathan informed me that he wants to live there, like in the aquarium. I had to tell him no and he was a bit upset so I gently reminded him that he might miss his bed if he lived there and he agreed (he's very fond of his own bed these days). I used to be a fan of C. S. Lewis, way back when. Then I read the Last Battle , and later started discovering how lousy his morals were. Three years ago I saw The Lion, the Witch, and the Wardrobe and found it all right, if you could ignore the messages. My decision to go to Prince Caspian was a last minute whim.
